In June 2022, the ONE – Health, Environment, Society – conference 2022 took place in Brussels. It gathered 900 participants in the presencial modality and many more joined the online streaming.

This four-day scientific program examined food and feed safety from the broken perspective of sustainable food systems, focusing on the need to implement a “One Health – One Environment” approach and explored possible developments of risk assessment science.

The event was co-designed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the European Environment Agency (EEA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC).

By bringing together scientists with diverse backgrounds and expertise, the conference was an important opportunity to share knowledge and contribute to a crucial debate, addressing key topics on the EU political agenda.

The sessions are accessible here and it’s possible to browse the sessions by thematic track and check out the recordings of the side events to find out about careers at EFSA and partners’ projects.
