Catalyzing a global movement for action against AMR

Virtual event | 18 November 2022 | 13:00-14:30

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), known as the Quadripartite are pleased to invite you to the official launch of the Antimicrobial Resistance Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global, growing threat to our public health, agrifood and ecosystems. Addressing it through a coordinated, multi-sectoral One Health approach is a shared responsibility as it affects everyone. Partnerships and cross-sectoral collaborations involving public and private actors at global, regional, and national levels are required if we are to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform is an international and inclusive multi-stakeholder venue that aims to bring together diverse voices across the human, animal, plant, and environment sectors to preserve antimicrobials in common cause and ensure their responsible use.

The Platform aims to create a global movement for change on AMR, raise awareness of the role everyone should play in tackling AMR, and highlight the importance of a collaborative One Health approach in addressing AMR issues.

Join us for the official launch of the Platform and become part of the global multi-stakeholder dialogue and action against AMR. Please find attached the agenda.
